We as Christian are Commanded: " . . . be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Why, be wise as satan's people (serpents) and why learn from them? We can learn how a Christian should stand fast throughout their life -- trusting ONLY in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth as one's Shepherd, Lord, God, Master, and Savior!

Note: Course in the Greek means: a Course, to Race. Properly, a race-course (track), where foot-runners competed in the ancient Greek games. Run your life for all to see Romans 1:16; run hard, pace yourself, push forth to win, to complete the race! In the New Testament figuratively, it means the COURSE of one's life or of their office. Acts 13:25-35; Acts 20:24-30

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.



Matthew 10:28

28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Note:  Fear God! Fear the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth WHO IS the Righteous Judge! Not satan. God has the power to kill the soul and destroy both the soul and body in hell.  Fear Him, fear God! Fear the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth WHO IS the Righteous Judge! Matthew 10:28 is NOT referring to satan, for satan is not spoken of having that power/authority at all.  This is spoken of God Himself, who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell AND Fear the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, WHO IS the Righteous Judge, Who will judge all including the nations!
